Batavia Boutique Hotel is proudly associated with the de Bod family, whose involvement in South African hospitality dates back to 1996. Beginning in the Klein Karoo, the family developed a personal style of hospitality founded on warmth, attentive service and a genuine connection to place.

Today, that tradition continues at Batavia Boutique Hotel in the historic heart of Stellenbosch. What guides us
Batavia is proudly family owned and personally managed, with the next generation, Bertie de Bod, actively involved in the day-to-day running and future of the hotel.
